Wordpress plugin does not seem to work any longer

Hi,

I recently made two fresh installs of Wordpress and Vanilla 2. Both new as of today (WP is 3.7.1). I installed both Vanilla Embed and the Wordpress plugin, but only comments work. The forum is not embedded at all, the discussion page is blank. Putting in the script manually does nothing, either. Also, the comments section leaves a large blank area at the bottom, but perhaps that is a theme issue.

I read as much as I could and searched the forum. Is this just no longer a maintained plugin or feature? That's disappointing, if so.

    This seems to be a problem related to the default Wordpress theme. Switching the theme fixes it.
