Rangy not supported error message on thread pages - please help!
Hi guys,
My forum has been up & running for a few weeks now without any serious problems (and thanks to all the help I've already received from this community).
However, something strange has suddenly started happening.
When opening thread pages all users, including admin, sees an error message:
'The page at www.rrcuk.com says:
Rangy is not supported on this page in your browser.
Reason: No body element found'
Also, the 'Mobile Site/Full Site' option has disappeared from the footer in both modes, and mobile users cannot upload images (using Image Upload).
Vanilla version: 2.0.18.8
I really appreciate anything anyone could suggest.

Sorry if I sound dumb, but I haven't amended any html anywhere for there to be a body tag missing.
well something no right for it not to show first place I'd look is the default template, did you remove the footer? that is a common mistake, it remove a definition list that is used in all sorts.

I've looked at my default.master.php, and it has the footer in place.
What is very strange is that this doesn't happen with all discussions/threads, and not even in a specific order (i.e. Date).

I know my mentions look up uses rangy. Are you using this plugin?
Are you are using any plugin to do with typing or selection of text and markup?

Yes I am using your Mentions plugin.
I don't have a typing or selection of text and markup.
I have however recently installed Quote Selection - Igor Tarasov.
Could this be causing the messages?

I've just had a user complain that on the mobile version a 'Share' bar has just appeared.
I am using Login Radius, but this bar is a new thing for me.
Could this be causing problems, and should I disable Quote Selection?
I really want to keep Mentions installed, as it is extremely useful
Hi @x00, it's 'LoginRadius - Social Login' that's causing the problems!
I have disabled it, and now the errors have disappeared, and all mobile functions have come back.
I shall open a new thread addressing the issue with @Loginradius
