Completely new to Vanilla. I'd like to add 'latest post' next to each category on my category index page.

I've seen it at this thread - http://vanillaforums.org/discussion/19024 and wondered how it is added?

Much thanks and my apologies if it's really simple!

Even i am trying to find the answer for the same question, i want to display latest post and count in the category page, and i could not find any themes which shows that information in category.

If someone knows that information in handy, could you please share it.

all you had to do was read the discussion link that was listed at top of thread and you would have found (at least to the theme they were referencing). does this not do it?

  • I am looking for more such themes, That link was posted in the first origin post itself, It is dark theme, When i searched for more such themes, i could not find any filter for easy finding, Based on the screenshot only, we can identify whether theme has the same layout, So, If someone has already that list of themes or tried few such themes, i requested them to share it me.

That's it, Thanks for your reply.

the trick would be to see what view "Traditional Chocolate" uses to produce what layout and variable that you want, and implement it in your own theme.

plenty of tutorials on theme design and construction on this forum. just click on category tutorials.
