I get this error when i try and run the versioncheck plugin in 2.1

    try changing the settings to filegetcontents for the transfer type in the plugin. Debugging must be off in your config.php.

    thanks for the feedback.

    I'm uploading a new plugin - so theoretically if you don't have posix enabled you don't have to mess around with link above, and the plugin has a bit more functionality and error-checking.

    version 1.6 is now available.

    installed on 2.1.5 and tried to run it and get the error "something went wrong" We've run into a problem and are unable to handle this request right now.
