Any disadvantage of using this instead of straight up bootstrap?

I'm just learning about bootstrap, and wondering if anyone can tell me of any reason why I shouldn't start with this instead of the actual bootstrap theme. Seems like this might get me a leg up in doing a bunch of the customization I'm looking to do, but will I be limited somehow? Is bootstrap the wave of the future for VF themes, or just another way of getting things done?

    Just try them all out. The only disadvantage is potentially the level of coding skills you count on or not.

    Both are excellent themes made by awesome people.
