Asking for the new trend for CMS. Which is the leading CMS now: Virtuemart, Prestashop, Magento????
Virtuemart seems to be out of the race for leading CMS. Joomla provides too many regular updates for me to follow them. And with each update, my plug-in or addons on site face some problems. It's quite annoying. In my opinion, Prestashop and Magento are now in the lead. What do you think?

you may experience that with any software. If the devs for the plugins do not update then you must learn to fix the issues. That is why vanilla is special. Because you can easily update and fix plugins even if they were made by someone else...
It all depends what you need... It is a matter of taste and then a matter of being able to understand their framework and then being able to extend it. In my opinion, they are laking..
