Vanilla forums bridge with wordpress is officially broken and without support?

wrong redirects on popup sign in
not refreshing after loging
broken permalinks
opening comment links inside iframes

Will wordpress plugin get some maintenance or is this a done deal? I see all over the board comments such as "best to keep it separate", "don't embed", "don't use vanilla comments". Then what is the point of the whole SSO deal if this isn't working as advertised nor as it should? Just at least say you don't have a clue how to fix those issues that people have with vanilla comments and say that plugin is abandoned?

    Single Sign On works fine if you have configured it correctly.

    Embedding is not the best way to run a forum because much of what is going on depends on where you are embedding. What theme what plugins what apps you use on Wordpress may have a bad effect on the embed. Of any embedded page not just vanilla. You have not provided those details. Nor what settings in the dashboard for embed , force url etc. How are we to know squat ??

    I suggest you ask in the Wordpress Forums for help because this issue is a WP issue most likely.

    I told you what you can do to make urls open in a new window. Which is how it was before than people wanted the window inside the parent iframe. Make it like you want. There are ways, no need to whine…

    You need to provide a link to the site where the issue happens. We can't guess by your description because we need to look at the code, and experience the issue in order to diagnose the problem.

    No clue with the small amount of info you provide without links or any pictures. Or maybe the volunteers or admins or moderators don't know or don't have time or don't care… This is a help yourself type of forum and if you are lucky someone knowledgable comes to help you. Gratis has it's drawbacks and learning curve…
