Tags and Curate help please!
I have set custom privilege to my users so that everyone can curate comments, Anyone can also create tags if they can't find one that already exists.
Problem is, even though they have been enabled in roles & permissions settings, the users still can't curate or create tags. If they type something in the tag field and press enter or comma(,) it just blanks the tag field again. Curate is the biggest issue though. Thanks guys !

To add a tag you don't need to press enter or use a comma. As soon as you type it should stay as far as I know, you simply add a space between tags. The tags get saved when you save the comment or discussion.

since curation management is just a permission, it actually controls nothing per se in the vanilla core. Because the vanilla core has nothing that curation really does.
So the question is what do you expect Curation to do, and what do you want, and what are you using?

if you use tagging, use the tagging - use the plugin that comes with core not any other tagging plugin. It will work the same general way as adding a tag on this forum.

I have Vanilla 2.2.1
I have Yaga, And if you notice beside "quote" it says insightful, awesome, etc. Only the Admin has this option, even though I gave permission for my "subscribers" they can not use it and only quote, and facebook/twitter are showing.
I have tagging and only the Admin can create them, even though the permissions are set for any user to be able to create tags.
I will email Yaga as well then if you are saying its a problem with their ad-on.

** the reactions has been fixed, Roles & Permissions>Yaga>Reactions "Add" checkbox needs to be checked, mine had "view" checked off only.
The Tagging is still an issue I Cant figure out.
I don't see anything in I am missing in Roles & Permissions.
When a subscriber adds a new discussion they can not create a tag, only the admin can. When a subscriber types thier tag and hits "spacebar" it just simply adds a space, when the admin does it, it will create the tag. when subscriber hits "enter" after typing the tag, the tag disapears, when the admin does it the tag is created. When a subscriber hits "comma" it will delete the tag ad when an admin presses it, it will create the tag.
I am using the tagging plugin. is there an alternative plugin maybe? or something i am not sure why this is happening lol.
Yes it is a Yaga issue as well. ranks need to be adjusted and or disabled
