Hi, I am using the embedded Js code to embed my forum into a concrete5 cms. After a bit of a delay I get the Vanilla logo but nothing else. The browser console said that cross frame linking was not allowed so I added some directives to .htaccess and the error went away but I still get a blank forum. I made a stripped down page that can be viewed at http://eaware.ca/delme/. I hope I can solve this problem because I'd really like to use Vanilla Forum in my site!

Welcome to the community.
Whilst Vanilla make the embed code available, it is really not the recommended route.
The optimal route is to theme Vanilla to match your site.

Have a browse through the Vanilla documentation and the Tutorials section (FAQ thread is a good place to start.)
I don't really know your cms set up, but in general, the idea would simply be to have a link to your forum (the standard Vanilla install) themed to look like the rest of your site.
Thank you very much for your generous advice! I ended up dropping the embedded code and using an iframe wrapped in a div. It works and can be seen at http://www.eaware.ca/index.php/forums I will look at the Vanilla faq and tutorials. Thanks again!
