Helou, Comunity... :+1:

Did an Upgrade from 2.2 to 2.3.. everything works fine... :+1:

Have just this small glitch:

Using the Editor in WYSIWYG Mode...
When I select a Smilie in the Editor with ":" (for example:smile:) and select the smilie from the then appearing List of smilies, I get:

<span></span>

See this picture:

Not sure where to correct this... :surprised:

appreciate any help, thx... :wink::+1:

And here the Statistics:

From Vanilla 2.2 to 2.3:
1 Debian Weezy
2. Php from 5.4 updated to 5.6
3. Apache/2.2.22 (Debian)
4. MySQL-Client-Version: 5.6.34

  • Can confirm, also noticed this bug on my install. Strangely enough it only seemed to do so on specific emotes.

    Vanilla 2.3.1

Am I really the only one having always this issue??
Had to move my forum to a new Server...
After Migrating as explained here , the SPAN issue above occurs again!! :surprised:

Did a comparison with the above solution and the Global.js file in Ver. 2.3.1. the codelines are missing! :surprised:
Did the developers made another solution?
After putting the Codelines back into global.je, the SPAN problem dissaperars...

    So just FYI... :+1:

  • if the code is missing open up a ticket on github an refer to the the original issue.

    grep is your friend.
