I did a clean install no plugins everything default but when i login and view source I see this error
"TransportError": "A fatal error occurred while processing the request.
The server returned the following response: %s"

that is a 400 error , bad request or time out . It's a server issue. Talk to your host. Make sure you have the latest php version.
Without knowing more about your installation, it's hard to guess.

yea im running the latest php aswell as mysql
It is a server error, so we cannot really help. You should at least tell us what you find in the error logs.
Which web server do you use? What I found when looking for this error was all IIS related. If you are not using Apache or nginx, you would have to search the forum for hints how to get Vanilla running on IIS.
