i just got an email from plushforums.com offering me a subscription, even tho i have set option here to hide my email.... seems they looked at domain records and pulled another email address from there. wtf?

PlushForums is a competitor of Vanilla. They use the open source version of Vanilla, have added some things and offer similar services like Vanilla Inc. does. So you can bet that they don't have your mail address from here.
