Plugin BetterNotifications does not working properly on Vanilla 2.5.1 [RESOLVED]

I have updated to Vanilla 2.5.1 and plugin does not working properly.

Users complain to receive to much emails.

Some one have similar problem?

Any suggestion? How could the problem be detected?

Please take a look at the pull request that I've just made. Changing that little bit of code (and deleting /cache/addon.php afterwards) should fix the problem
