Is it possible that I can define the members allowed to read/answer a post I created?

Welcome to the community.
You can create custom roles, and define which roles can see specific categories if you are looking for a 'permanent' solution.
If you want to be able to do it 'ad hoc' by post, then maybe one of the code gurus can say whether or not that would be possible.
