i can click on anything on my forum without seeing this error please help vanilla 2.3 i am basically new to vanilla forum.

Could you give us your URL so that we can see for ourselves and help you?
Also, why are you using an old, unsupported version of Vanilla, with tons of security vulnerabilities that ain't gonna patch themselves? Why not install 2.6.3 or even 2.5.6 which are the latest updated and secured versions of Vanilla?
fixed but i really want to run an update ... what do you think

What do you mean you are cautious of the site? Did you use any auto-installer or did you install it yourself?
