Cannot create tags

Hi folks,

I cannot seem to be able to create tags, either from a new topic or from the admin.

The tags just won't save.

Can someone please advise?

    Hi @juliencoquet , you can put

    $Configuration['Debug'] = true;

    in your conf/config.php file to maybe display some errors.

    The tagging plugin is part of the core. It might not be enough to only delete the old tagging plugin folder. You should delete the content of the /cache folder, too.


    And maybe it helps to open the "Add Tag" link in its own window "/settings/tags/add?type=Tag".

    If you are lucky you see some more information if you try to save a new tag that way.

    Thanks for tips

    • no luck with clearing cache
    • enabling debug did not provide info besides notices
    • I do get messages in the browser console though (see attchment)
