Problem with upgrading

Hi,
I'm trying to update Vanilla from version 3.0 to 3.1. I followed all the istruction in your documentation included the version-based istruction (followed the istruction for Vanilla 2.8 or earlier). When i execute the upgrade to example.com/utility/upgrade, it says that the upgrade was done successfull but in conf/config.php i see that the version is remained at 3.0. Someone can help me?

EDIT: the problem appear also without following the version-based istructions
Do a /utility/update and a /utility/structure. Afterwards go to any page in the dashboard and look in the lower right corner. The version number you see there is what your current installation has.
Ok, it worked. But why in config.php remains the 3.0 version?
