Spammed through PM by new users on this forum?

I got some suspicious pm by a new registered user in this forum. I wonder whether this is a common issue.

It is rather unsettling! An annoying waste of time to read from someone who has zero posts/comments on this forum, and whose PM is as bare as an egg is hairy.
New users / Spammers should not be allowed near an inch of using the PM feature.
This fellow keeps spamming me and there is no block/report feature, or is there?
Hmm.. time to cook up that plugin :)

Another user has already informed me about a message from another account. Simply report such messages and they will be banned.
