number of views and comments

Is there any way to show a number of views and comments similar to this forum, see below?

I tried multiple themes, but was not able to find anything similar.

It looks much better to me compared to the standard theme because it uses a large font and it is visible right away.

There is old Stats Box Plugin but I am not sure if it works with 3.3.
