SMF2 Import Adventures Redux: the case of the additional 'n' in avatars

This is a super odd one.

All of the paths of imported avatars have an additional 'n' at the start of the filename.

avatar.png becomes navatar.png

angryboy.gif becomes nangryboy.gif

It's not in the database, it's not in the import file, it's not in the filename. I have no idea what's going on!
