Plugin does not appear in my Dashboard

I am hosting v3.0.2 on my website and I recently downloaded the AuthorSelector plugin. I unzipped the file and uploaded the directory to the plugins folder but it doesn't appear in my Dashboard.
I am very new to Vanilla so I may have missed something obvious.

OK I have solved my own problem.
There was a small popup box saying the addon cache was not up to date - it is now 😀
clear it and refresh the page
