Email notifications are not sent

Hi,

I'm trying to configure email notifications on a fresh Vanilla 3.3 server.

The "Send a test email" button works fine, and email are sent to new users.

But no email notification are sent for private message or public discussions.

What am I missing ?

    Same for us.........did you fix ?

    The email account/settings are working with other test routines but not firing for new registrations and messages etc on 3.3

    In the same boat after sorting out other mail issues over the last couple of weeks.

    I fixed this by removing the mailgun plugin

    I don't have that plugin, but I am using SMTP.

    Try WP Mail SMTP plugin. Worked for us
