PLEASE fix the register system

So on my Vanilla Forums, you can't register. When you do click register it pops up with a new box and it says 'Tell us why you want to join!'
After I put it in, it times out with something like:
Error - Connection timed out after 180 seconds or something
It took me 1 month to successfully register here because I COULDN'T REGISTER. It did the thing above.
But I finally did it and I want there to be an option to disable it.

That is controlled by your Registration settings in Dashboard.

As you can imagine, that's not the normal behaviour and most probably is a problem of your server config. First thing would be to inspect the JavaScript console and the network analysis to see what is causing that delay.

He experienced it here aswell
Hasn't been there somebody else and in the end it turned out he had a browser extension or was using a proxy or something similar which was causing that problem?

I did, and it did the SAME
Just tried it (and saw other users did so too 😉) and I experienced no lag.
First thing would be to inspect the JavaScript console and the network analysis to see what is causing that delay.
Try to narrow down the problem. We cannot support much, because that delay is most probably caused by your connection/pc
