Lots of "atomic" files in /tmp

Hi, I am running a self-hosted version of Vanilla (version 2021.012) and I am seeing a ton of files in /tmp starting with "atomic" e.g. "atomicAAaaa".

These files are eating up a lot of disk space - can they be deleted without causing issues with Vanilla?

Thank you @R_J - can you tell me what those files are used for?

There has been a problem when /tmp was used during forum bootstrap instead of /cache and I assume it never has been solved.

I think the problem has been that /cache/addons.php is searched and if not found created. Since /cache isn't found, /tmp is used and the filename of the addons.php gets a random file name and as a result cannot be found there...

    Something like that...

Thanks very much for the info @R_J
