new style: "scene 1.0"

hey guys, just uploaded a new style for the default vanilla theme. take a look!

    For some reason it didn't upload and save properly. What file extension did you have on it?

    Regardless, I downloaded, renamed to Scene.zip and re-uploaded for you. Now the file has been tagged properly with the date.

    It's kind of a mix between the default style and Do.. Very nice.

    You disagree? Uhm, I think I thought it because in both there is this high-contrast thing going on. Mostly monochrome (big black lettering for topics, light greys for other things). But Scene 1.0 isn't as extreme as Do., with much of the information on discussions and categories remaining (where it has been removed over at Do.). I just applied the style, looked it over briefly, and posted. I really think there are some similarities between Scene 1.0 and Do. :)

    fair enough, just didnt strike me as do.. from the screenshot. However it is a really nice theme, well done :P

    glad you guys like it! i might set up a test forum on my server where you can see all of my styles in action, but for now i have no where to show it off. sorry!

    download it and give it a shot though!

    thanks for fixing my file mark, i think i forgot to take the space out of the folder name before i compressed it as a zip.

    Totally agree with Immersion - the screenshot doesn't do it justice. This is a fantastic theme. Great starting point to make it fit in with the rest of my site.

    Def. going to be my theme of choice until Minivanilli comes out. ^_^

    Only one problem I have - for some reason the login/logout (people section) page is completely unstyled.

    That's right, erissiva - outbreak, you should copy the default people.css file into there so there's at least the original style on the login screen.

    I've also installed this style, and modified it to make it look like the 80's puked on it. http://joshuajenkins.com/create Was a nice base to work off of, still have a lot of work to do.

    Yeah the 80's were sweet, even though I only have maybe 1/2 a conscious year in them. It beat the whole 90's though.
