    This IS a problem IMHO. People will forget to whisper, and won't know they didn't.

    What do you suggest to do about it? Put a big sign at the top of each discussion saying 'BY THE WAY THIS ISNT A WHISPER, YOU COOL WITH THAT?'

    You can edit your discussion and just add the whisper-username, right?

    No. You cant post-whisper a discussion to stop people being naughty. It might be cool if you could do it up to the point where someone replies (i.e. it becomes an 'active' thread)

    That's odd.... I have post-whispered on my board, but could not change category.

    Ran into that while testing edit in place-- one of my test threads has guest whspered to admin, and you can undo-redo it at will, but not change category.

    I've changed individual comments to whispers later on. Haven't tried whole discussions though.

    no. you can't change discussions to whispered after they're created.
    if you could, you guys wouldn't be seeing this discussion :)
