It would be nice to have an add-on that would tell the users the advance and non obvious funtions on how to use a board on the login page, aka
  • Click the Start a new discussion link to create a new discussion
  • You can exclude catagories from the main page by blocking catagories
  • You can whisper comments or discussions to specified people
  • ...
Maybe have an ajaxy slideshow say it?

    I think it may be better served by a dismissible Notice feature.

    There's another discussion about documentation and how to use a forum. I think it would work better as a FAQ section on the main forum like the Vanilla forum. What I do think would be good if, once you register and login for the first time, you would be take to a FAQ or training section.
