"Your Discussions" - 1 new

edited November 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Hi, haven't seen it is mentioned yet, that's why I post it here. If I add a comment to a discussion I started, it shows "1 new" at the left side ("Display your discussions in the control panel" is activated). That's actually right, but as this new entry is done be myself, it's a bit irritating. Maybe it would be better not to mark own entries as new ones? Just a thought. Probably you already noticed it anyway.

If I can just bump this instead of starting a new discussion. "Problem" is still present. When starting a discussion or adding a comment. "1 new" is displayed in "your discussions" and "browsing history" If I understand correctly, you have already read your discussion/comment and it should not be displayed as a new discussion/comment to you. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Note: It disappears when navigating to another thread. But still is a little against logic, at least against mine.

    Bump (annoys me too)

Same when you navigate to a discussion which has a new comment: It still indicates a new comment, while you are watching it. May be the same logic.

    Good idea.
