edited June 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
I'd love to see a discussion where we can see different implementations of Vanilla and see other custom themes and layouts.

  • Isn't that what the "shameless plug" thread is for?

I'm working on a Vista-theme-style thingy. When it's done, I'll release it for free

  • "When it's done, I'll release it for free" Thank you for that. It's really nice and the discussion list is pretty clear, I will certainly use it.
  • In some ways i disagree with the concept behind your theme, jazzman, but i also really quite like it so i'll let you off :)
  • In my opinion it still looks too much like Vanilla :) But I don't want it too look like phpBB or some other board... /me goes back to the drawingboard
  • I sense a bit of irony in the fact that it's a MS based theme being shown off in firefox :)
  • SCUM? like valerie solanas?

    needs more gradients
  • hey, i just had a funny idea, get some random "filetype" icons (like text file, audio file, etc) and put a random one next to each discussion. then it would look just like explorer!
  • wow, awsome, can't wait for it!
  • I made a bunch of mods mainly to the css files which you can find here -- forum.skem9.com
took awhile to get it all right, but for now I like it. I've been waiting for version 1 to come out so I could actually test it out there and then I was planning on adding it into the themes location on the site for others to use / modify too :)
  • I'm working on one here: www.healthyschoolscampaign.org/community
  • this is very similar to studiowhiz.com
  • What's very similar?

We should decide on a Flickr tag and get everyone to upload screenshots using it. 'vanillathemes' or wotever...
  • Perhaps tagging it under the tag of "LussumoVanilla" would be appropriate, no?

Aye, you canny knock that wan pal, ken ;)
  • Who's ken?
  • haha. Ken is a scottish word. Come to think of it i have no idea what it means but treat it in a similar fashion to 'och aye' :)
  • Doesn't Vanillazilla provide links to others forums?
