Integrated Chat

Hello... So far I am loving Vanilla, I think its a great script. And the extensions are awesome as well. But I was wondering if it was possible to create a integrated Chat room. Where it would use the names of the members and only allow them in. And so forth... I've been looking around for a AJAX chat and I've seen a few tutorials and what-not. But I'm not the best coder around and have no idea whats going on. ^_^ But I'm just wondering if its at all possible. Thanks!
