kohana session integration

would be great if anyone can integrate the kohana session and db lib so a user could be authenticated directly from kohana (kohanaphp.com) something like the zend add-on i tried and failed the only success i had is by using cookies but is a ugly method because i modified vanilla files

    Did you try to search the good old http://codeigniter.com/wiki/ for the word 'Vanilla'? You could find inspiration here.
