how to change discussion order

how can i manually change the discussion order? i've toyed around with the diferent fields in database, but not luck yet. can someone point me in the right direction? thanks

    Discussions are sorted in reverse-chronological order (newest first). If you must, you can manipulate the DateLastActive field.
