Huh. Did some testing and it turns out to be the theme I was using (Bootstrap). Perhaps there's something getting in the way with the script on that theme, but I don't know how to fix it.

Yes, I'm experiencing this issue as well on a new install. The version that comes with Vanilla is 1.1, but here there's only 0.5
