If you write a plugin structure that makes the change, the field shouldn't be truncated to 100 and then increased, it should just stay where you want it. That is my experience, anyway. (View Post)1 -

The super admin can never be locked out. This is indicated by the Admin field in a user object. You are not a superadmin, obviously. If you don't have FTP/SSH/DB access, there is no easy way (if any)… (View Post)1
