Re: Vanilla 2.1b1 Released
I believe that they can now be found under the social settings page. The last time I checked, the links on the social settings page to enable the Facebook and Twitter features were broken, but it might have been fixed in the beta. If the links don't work, right click them, copy the URL, fix the link, then go to the address… -

Re: Vanilla 2.1b1 Released
Good catch and we should do this. I can tell you that the only reason why we are slow to update jquery is that damn nested sortable plugin. It breaks with every jquery update, but we rely on it for the category management page. That being said, a jQuery update will obviously have to wait for 2.1b2 since 2.1b1 is already… -

No auto-upgrade, but the upgrade is not a pain. I would first try upgrading locally, on your own PC to see what you encounter and then upgrade on your server. These instructions don't quite work as the /utility folder does not exist nor does the /index.php?p=/utility/update page: http://vanillawiki.homebrewforums.net/index.php/Upgrading I tried to copy over my config… -
Re: Vanilla 2.1b1 Released
It's kind of misleading that this thread ("Vanilla 2.1b1 Released") is still an announcement and as such very prominent placed in this forum. Now this discussion spans over 5 pages and it's getting harder and harder to get the crucial information out of it. If 2.1b1 is dead, the original relevance of this thread is gone.… -
Re: Vanilla 2.1b1 Released
Ok, guys, a request from one of the helpers on this forum: Please when you have a Vanilla 2.1 issue and want to post a new discussion, first search for your issue on the forum, then post your issue, mentioning that you've searched. I've also dedicated a special Vanilla Wiki page related to the issues you might encounter… -
Re: Vanilla 2.1b1 Released
That's fair enough. A note in the wiki advising that permissions are wiped out would be nice - I just tried creating an account to do so but it doesn't appear to have editing permissions to that page :) I have a question regarding Master. Feel free to call me foolish, but this is the first time I've used git. I did git…
