Here is the content of the file from my /forums root directory:- # Original # If you modify this file then change the above line to: # Modified <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On #### # Certain hosts may require the following line. # If… -
Re: Pockets - currently no way to lock down to Members Only
@Bleistivt thank you very much for the guidance. I got it working. This is what I did, leaving a trail for others to do similarly. 1) Right, I use Pockets, that much is a given. 2) On my website, I use a small paid ChatBox/Shoutbox solution which I have displayed in the right side panel. This is because there is no native… -
Re: Missing definitions in the Baseline Locale
@Todd: I've listed the missing definitions mentioned above so you can easely add them to the Baseline Locale addon. These definitions were missing in captured.php: $Definition['Save Comment']$Definition['Unannounce']$Definition['Announcement']$Definition['Dismiss']$Definition['Closed']$Definition['Reopen']$Definition['Old… -
Re: broken images
Heatinghelp.com started running on vanilla a few weeks ago, initially everything was fine but several days ago something happened. After the site went down for a while (updating?) things got strange. On my Imac running osx 10.9 it was no longer possible to open images. If you clicked on then nothing happened and if you… -
Re: CSS Edit, have to use !important a lot
I did the things above, but the css is still being overrided and need !important to work. I also looked into style.css, but doesn't seem to be the one doing it. Not sure if this means anything: That folder is empty though. I'm not sure it only happens with typography related css yet. I've not added much css, mainly… -
Re: Ckeditor for latest vanilla 3 is much needed
Good job, @R_J. Does CKEditor itself require jQuery? As long as Vanilla still requires jQuery and loads it on the page, I suppose it's okay to mix it in when necessary. Also, I believe CKEditor's license is compatible with GPL2 so that's good. I actually checked out Trumbowyg and EasyMDE for a non-PHP project recently too.… -
Re: Featured Topics on home page
Am trying to implement this, but I have a challenge. The /discussion/featured page has only one page at the moment but the pagination counts upto the number of pages /discussions has. When I click on page 2 or other pages, I get no discussion was found. After a few hours of trial, I thought I could use the BeforeBuildPager… -
Re: New Add On Utility Links
I see the value for adding existing links meaning... if it just changes a config setting or clicks on hidden links. As far as already created plugins..... there will always be splitters and lumpers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lumpers_and_splitters I don't see a whole lot of value putting 3 plugins into one. Version Check… -

Re: my logo is not appearing in mobile view
@Aimi86 Welcome to the community. The full site and the mobile site have different themes by default. You can either: try to set your full site theme as the mobile theme, by adding (or editing) this line in config.php $Configuration['Garden']['MobileTheme'] = 'nameoftheme'; (Where the theme name matches your full site…
