Deleting comments takes forever

Is it just me or does deleting comments take an extraordinary amount of time? From when i click the 'okay' button I get a delay of maybe 5-10seconds before the post disappears. Given how quick most other stuff is this seems odd?

    On this forum, yes - it's because of our search indexes getting updated when the delete occurs. That's a bug, for sure.

    oooooo so how would one delete a comment to test this?

    It's not the case any more since searching was reworked.
