Would this be a good change?
In default.php, comment out line 113.
Add below...
$Panel->AddString('<ul><li><h2>Albums</h2></li></ul>', 100);
This will just place a title (Albums) in bold black in the side panel with the gray underline above the list of albums like in other areas of vanilla panel.

Hamed, I too am looking for every user to be able to upload an album. How have you got on with your experiments, so far? Thanks

Hamed has mentioned that the image sizes can be huge.
Does anybody know where I can change the size of the image once the thumbnail has been clicked?
Thanks

Is there a way to make it so you can add HTML into the 'default text' or at least be able to add some bold, or a line break etc ?
