Glad it's working now, but it's very, very strange as setting it to something a bit more sane, like example.co.uk makes things very, very breaky! Nothing a little forced deleting of the wordpress plugin doesn't solve though
for those looking for wordpress plugin: "...you may find that we've already written a plugin for your application. If we have, you'll find it in the ProxyConnect/external/ folder withing the archive you downloaded from our addon page."
this could be like: "Plugin located in: your_installation/ProxyConnect/external/"
