  • Heh, wallphone, lussumo caters to about as many people as google faces in one second. perhaps even a fraction of that. it's like human vs dust mite.

Bit of topic, but how would I go about getting a gmail account? I have never been bothered with it, but it does look quite good and handy as an additional account. Looks like you can't signup yet on the site, and I don't think you can get invites anymore, can you?
  • Official reason: as written by MrNase But you can also consider (I do) that Google has a problem with privacy and want to be able to search through everything for an indefinite time, whether you're OK with that or not. That is their multibillionar business model, remember? Who said about Google: "Hey relax, be confident, trust them, they're not doing evil you know"? Google themselves so it's a bit biased ;-) Perhaps that's true, perhaps not. But I don't listen to biased words to have my own opinion in general.
  • I can send you an invite if you like?

whisper me your e-mail address and I'll send it.
  • While i partially agree, felipe, even if they offer a delete button it doesnt have to delete the email... It could just remove it from any of your views and stop using it against your quota but keep it on their system all the same if they wanted.
  • True, but there is an "EULA" from Google that the user accepts and I imagine somebody could detect that old and deleted content is still used by Google to servve ads or something like that. Well, I agree you couldn't detect someone else (like NSA) has kept your deleted content while not using it (for now). But the contrary (the NSA not catching and not keeping it) would appear really strange to me: that's exactly their not so secret job and they have thousand people very talented to do it so ... :-D
