recommended CSS editors..?

  • ScITE is a great editor since it supports almost every major programming language in its syntax highlighter including CSS, and best of all, it's FREE!
  • I actually tried ScITE out for a few weeks, I didn't like it too much for windows because of having to manually tweak and edit the settings file, along with other strange bugs encountered. It's great on *nix distro's because in many cases you don't have that many options. BlueFish : http://bluefish.openoffice.nl is also a nice alternative, I use it regularly on my laptop.
  • Notepad++ is an enhanced fork of ScITE. It's far better. Those who use ScITE must try this one.
  • cool... i'll have to check out notepad++... i would also recommend checking out PHP Designer 2005. it has support for most major languages as well, including CSS, and it does more than just syntax highlighting, too.
