edited November 2010 in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8
Hi,

I just noticed that vanilla is not mentioned in wikipedia.
Has someone of you experiences with wikipedia and would like to promote vanilla on wikipedia?

This could be a start point

  • They've deleted it twice now because Wikipedia is run by a bunch of bureaucratic jerks that don't consider TechCrunch or Business Week as legitimate sources to determine relevance. I've given up for now.
  • so they don't belief that vanilla is worth getting an article in wikipedia?
Vanilla is listed in the forum compare lists already... hm.
    that sucks
  • I say protest; whenever the wikipedia elite decide vanilla is worthy we should issue take-down notices off the site.

I've been battling with them for 10 years with my own LAN group in Australia.

    regards
  • There's already a deleted version floating around, which means they're just going to delete yours as well.
  • take a look here:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Kurdish_EAgle

I don't think they will delete it this time .
  • I added sources to the other one too and they dismissed them as not important enough (including Crunchbase & Tech Crunch)
  • the article is exist so far.
there are no reasons to delete or move it.
but if you are a confirmed user ,please add vanilla's logo for the infobox.

    regards.
