friends, one feature really useful to my context would be the ability to send (from admin panel) a common message to all registered users. Is it already available?

    I don't believe this is currently possible, but are you talking about an email or a conversation?

    hi friends, i would need simply to send short messages to all users. The admin will be the teacher and the users are his students (i hope this allow you to get the idea). So, from time to time the teacher needs to inform all students about some update at forum. NO conversation, simply email !

    Why don't you create a new discussion that you "Announce" (= sticky)? You really want to send an email?

    I already use this idea of fixed announcements but it is not sure whole community will visit the forum daily... so the feature of sending emails everytime you want to alert them or inform them, is very importat. You know, this is a native feature in phpbb. I did love it.
