Sign-In to view forums for guests. [Free version - Vanillaforums.com]

I'm aware there are limitations for the free version of the vanillaforums.com service. Though is there a way to change the settings so that even guests have to sign up before being able to view content?

Thanks for the answers. It's a shame that it's not available for the free version. The option to make a forum sign-in first to view would help most of us who are starting new communities.

Having a private option I'm sure is crucial for communities starting from scratch. I am just fine with how Vanilla is for the free version, but having to pay nearly $600 a year to have access to a private community option seems a bit much.

$600 is my server bill for 2 months. Guess it depends on your perspective.
