How can I rename the vanilla2 folder?

I've made a vanilla2 test environment. Tweaked it, installed addons, modified the base theme. Now I want to go "Live". But when I rename my "vanilla" folder to "forum" things go bad.

Is there a way to rename the vanilla2 folder name?

    Delete the ini files in your cache folder.

    Ah, only the ini files.. I had tried cleaning out the cache folder earlier (as mentioned in another discussion) but it resulted in errors because I also removed the "Smarty" folder. Apparently not a good idea :P
