[SOLVED] How can I change "Sign In" menu link from popup to static page?

edited February 2011 in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8
I'm having an issue with my new install of Vanilla. I outlined the problem in this question - basically, I've got a multipart header made of three elements to which I needed to assign z-indexes. It now looks great and works fine, except in IE7... now, on that browser, the signin popup occurs kind of half underneath the discussion menu. (The board in question is here, if you'd like to take a look.) I've tried all kinds of hacks to make IE7 work and none of them do it.

So I'm giving up. On the popup, at least.

This is the important part: In order to give up on the popup, I need to have some other way for people to sign in.

What I - a near-total php noob - need to learn is how to change the link in the menu so that it leads to /entry/signin?Target=activity instead of opening the popup.

Can someone guide me on the path to wisdom? Please?
