Any way to disable 'Conversations' for certain members?

I've looked through roles & permissions, but can't find this option anywhere. It's pretty common on most forum systems.

I don't want to disable the Conversations application completely, just for select members.

Thoughts/ideas appreciated!

Currently, Conversations doesn't use any role settings, so this isn't possible yet.
