Why can't I delete my questions on this forum?

Sometimes I think better of it and the question is not relevant.

    Being able to delete the first post deletes the entire discussion. Deleting entire discussions is pretty terrible on a forum.

    On some forums, people are able to delete discussion only if the numbers of comments is less than x (5 for instance). Maybe it could be configurable, or even just for a discussion with no comments.
