Importing PHPBB attachments

Hi,

I've successfully imported the body of my PHPBB forums using Porter 1.3.1, but am not having any luck importing all of the attachments (mostly images) over into Vanilla Forums? I also installed the FileUpload plugin as I read in a discussion here that must be installed.

Is this possible? Can you point me in the right direction?

    Attachments aren't currently part of the phpBB importer; I only wrote it for vBulletin because I happened to know how those worked.

    Could i export from PHPBB to vBulletin, then on to Vanilla? Would that retain the attachments?

    EDIT: Hmm..I guess I would need to have vBulletin installed, which I don't have. :(
