Unpredictable response times

Hi all,

We've had some reports (none of my staff/moderators have noticed the problem) but numerous people have mentioned the loading speed of our forums. It seems erratic, not browser based and a number of other websites on our VPS are running very snappily.

Are there any known issues I should be aware of?

    Are you running any third-party inserts like ads, iFrames, Twitter widgets, or things like that?

    I'm not aware of any core issue that could be causing this.
